The following are a few selected quotes from Jesus...

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:7

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.  John 3:8

Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?  John 3:10

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.  John 3:11

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.  John 3:13

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:   John 3:14

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  John 3: 15

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3: 16

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  John 3: 17

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  John 3:18

Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and I repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you.
Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen

The above prayer was taken from Mary Fairchild. More information here

"Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be." Amen

The above prayer can be found here..

God, be merciful to me a sinner.

The simplest of all prayers...God be merciful to me a sinner.. Luke 18: 13

Luke 18: 9-14

9 He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: 10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.' 13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted."
